This has been an eventful week in sports! There were unexpected wins, big news for Simone Biles and a great start for the Lakers.

On Saturday, Simone Biles performed at the world championships in Germany, performing an amazing floor routine. She now has two more signature moves named for her after landing an amazing triple-double, composed of a double backflip with three twists. It was dubbed the “Biles II”. To be named after a move, the gymnast must submit the routine and have it reviewed by officials. Then they need to successfully land it at a popular competition. She also flawlessly performed a move on the balance beam which consisted of a double-twisting double backflip. It will now be called “Biles”. Two other moves previously named after her consist of one on the vault and one on the floor, both of which are called “The Biles”.
