Holiday events in Nebraska

Happy Fall warriors! Happy Native American Heritage Month! We have almost made it to Thanksgiving break, so hang in there. This season of the year can feel so busy, but I believe in you all. That being said, everyone needs a little break once in a while. If you are looking for a fun event in Nebraska this season, I’ve got you covered! Here are some events coming up in Nebraska that I am most excited about.

The iconic vocal group Pentatonix is coming to Lincoln, Nebraska at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on Nov. 26. Pentatonix is an American acapella group that sings various genres of music. With the holidays coming up, they have a beautiful variety of songs they sing. If you are interested, I encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible before they all sell out. This is a concert you definitely would not like to miss! There are also plenty of open mic sessions across this month and next month that you can speak at and enjoy when you have free time.

I would also like to remind people that during this season people still need help. Some people struggle with their mental health and experience seasonal depression. Others may find themselves struggling to make ends meet financially or even be without a home. This season, take some action and volunteer at a local food bank, People’s City Mission, church or campus. You will brighten someone’s day and be a valuable resource to people in need.

With the season changing, also remember that it's completely fine to not have everything under control. You are capable of so much. Everyone moves at their own pace, and that is okay. Try focusing on the little things that bring you joy this season. Look forward to the leaves changing colors and collecting some leaves or picking up a new hobby this month. Take care of yourself first before anything else. You are very special, and you are loved. Remember that you have made it very far and are going to accomplish so much in your life!
