We want to publish your work! The Clocktower prints one editorial and accepts up to two digital exclusives per week.

Editorial Guidelines

1. Editorials can be submitted by any Union College student, faculty or staff member, including members of Clocktower staff. 

2. Submissions must reflect Union College’s values of integrity and honesty. Facts mentioned in articles must be verifiable.

3. Submissions should reflect Union College’s values of respect and compassion. Articles should not be needlessly inflammatory or malicious.

4. Editorials should be between 400-500 words. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the editor.

5. Union students are paid $20 per editorial.

6. No anonymous submissions will be accepted.

7. Articles must be the author’s own work.

8. Submitting a piece is not a guarantee that it will be published. Clocktower reserves the right to refuse to publish any work submitted.
