They even made it to the Big Ten semifinals. Their coach, Fred Hoiberg, did such a great job with his team that he signed on for two more years, all the way until the 2028-29 season. Plus, he's getting a raise, making $4.25 million every year starting from April 1. This was announced by the interim athletic director Dennis Leblanc on Wednesday, March 27.
It's awesome to see Coach Hoiberg getting recognized for his hard work and leadership with this contract extension and raise. He's been doing a fantastic job guiding the team, and this news is sure to bring even more excitement to Husker fans everywhere.
