Small Groups
There are many opportunities to get spiritually involved on campus, although some are advertised more than others. The most well-known spiritual events on campus are church, vespers and V2 (otherwise known as Saturday night vespers). However, the most overlooked opportunity is also the most beneficial to spiritual growth—small groups. Small groups can take on many formats, but they typically involve a closer-knit group of people studying the Bible. They allow for community building and provide a comfortable environment for sharing and conversation. There are eight small groups on campus, held at places like coffee shops, dorms and apartments, so there is a location where everyone can be comfortable. There is a group meeting every day, so there is likely one that fits into your schedule. The following is a list of the small groups currently hosted at Union:
