Hey Hannah

Hey Hannah,

Gross winter weather takes a toll on my mood. What can I do to cheer myself up?

—Frostbite

Hey Frostbite,

Get out of your room! Go out with friends and catch up over some food and try to relax. Find some time to get a workout in. Exercise is great for upping your mood and energy.

Hey Hannah,

Should I go on a 16 hour road trip with someone I just met on Tinder?

—At a crossroads

No, definitely don’t do that.

Hey Hannah,

How do I stay motivated to eat healthy instead of binging crappy food?

—Kale-n me

What’s up Kale-n me,

Take it day by day, and remember it’s okay to enjoy yourself sometimes. What helps me is to find time to exercise, clean my room and find something that relaxes me. If I have a set schedule for the week, I’m more likely to eat healthier foods than if I’m all over the place. If you get off track, don’t beat yourself up over it. Just try your best, don’t let it *beet* you!

Hey Hannah,

How do I get to bed on time?

—Buried in books

Hello Buried in books,

I like to try to get my homework done before it gets too late, but that isn’t always the easiest thing to do if you have a busy schedule. I try to stay on top of everything so that if I do have a night where I can go to bed earlier, I can take advantage of that. This gets even harder because, you know, Netflix. But listen to your body, if you’re exhausted then be nice to yourself and try to find time to sleep.

Hey Hannah,

What do I do if I think my teacher is giving me bad grades because I’m a girl?

—Fed up

Hey Fed up,

Talk to them about it because there could be other reasons or a miscommunication. If you feel like you aren’t being treated fairly, then you should definitely advocate for yourself and get this resolved. Try not to assume the worst until you’re given a reason to do so.

Hey Hannah,

Should I get bangs?

—Rockin’ Style

Girl, yes. Rock those bangs!
