Welcome back! I hope all of you had a blessed and relaxing Christmas break! Hopefully most people avoided any politically driven family drama throughout most family meals.

Politically speaking, the start of this new year has already been quite eventful. The future of this year will already be filled with major highs and lows for our country.

Just as Christmas began, the articles of impeachment passed by the House of Representatives making President Trump the third US president to be impeached. This all started when Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the impeachment process was going to begin. It has been a complete circus since day one. Our country has never seen such an unfair process in the history of impeachment.

When asking for witnesses, the House Republicans were completely shut down.  Democrats claimed they would treat this as fairly as the hearings of Nixon and Clinton, but in both cases, the White House and the president were allowed to be involved and defend themselves. However, throughout the 78 days this circus has been going on, the president has only been allowed to participate in seven of them. Yet he is being accused of abusing his power.

Even from the first impeachment investigation, these investigations are still personal vendetta’s taken out on the President by the left. This is a new low for lead Democrats and unfortunately one I don’t see ending soon.

President Trump ordered an attack that killed Soleimani, one of the largest terrorist leaders. It caused tensions to rise in the Middle East. Over the last 40 years, we have seen Iran use many of its proxies to attack Americans and American interests in their part of the world. And we finally saw the president take action against the radical behavior of Iran. He made it clear that this behavior will not be ignored anymore. The president called for other world leaders to step up to the plate and join America in holding Iran responsible for the destruction they and their proxy groups have caused.

That’s your update for the year 2020. Now it is time to see what the future might hold. May God bless you and God bless America.
