Spring 2024 Career and Graduate School Fair

Union College is gearing up for its highly anticipated Spring 2024 Career and Graduate School Fair, an event organized by Student Success and Career Services. This will be taking place on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The fair will be held in the Atrium (Don Love-North). This strategic event aims to connect students with employment opportunities, internships and graduate programs tailored to their respective majors.

The fair is tailored to students majoring in Art and Design, Business, Communication, Computer Science, Math, English, Music, Politics, History and International Relations. Employers from diverse industries such as ADRA, Charles Schwab & Company, and Thrivent – Midwest Rockies, and others are registered to participate. Additionally, several graduate programs from Union College, Nebraska Wesleyan University and Walla Walla College will be in attendance.

All students are encouraged to attend regardless of their academic year. The event offers an excellent opportunity for students to explore career options, seek internships, secure job opportunities, or pursue further education through graduate programs. The fair also promises a chance to win prizes and obtain a free professional profile photo.

The career fair encourages students to know their goals, practice self-introduction and research participating organizations. This gives you the chance to understand what needs to be done now to better prepare for later on. The fair's website states, "Research for student internships should start your first year in college. While senior year is often when big decisions about next steps after college are made, the information and connections to make those decisions can be started as early as your freshman year."
