The Mill at Telegraph: A Cozy Study Spot
As the weather gets colder, finding a warm and comfortable place to do homework is important. If you’re looking for a big, quiet spot to study late at night, The Mill at Telegraph is a great option. It’s open from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm every day, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink and get work done!
One of the best things about The Mill at Telegraph is that it’s only a few minutes away from Union Adventist University. Whether you drive or bike, it doesn’t take long to get there. It’s located in downtown Lincoln at 330 S 21st St, which isn’t far from school. If you don’t want to study in the library or your dorm, this is a good place to go for a change of scenery.
This location is also bigger than some other coffee shops, so you don’t have to worry about finding a seat. There are big tables, lots of chairs, and plenty of space to spread out your books or work on your laptop. Whether you like studying alone or with friends, there’s room for everyone. The lighting is warm and cozy, and being able to drink some coffee and have a pastry makes it even better.
Another great thing about The Mill at Telegraph is its menu. While Union has The Mill on campus, the Telegraph location might have some different menu items that you won’t find at school. You can order hot drinks like coffee, tea, and lattes, as well as pastries and snacks if you’re hungry. The Mill at Telegraph has a unique history too. The Mill Coffee & Tea has been a part of Lincoln for a long time. The first Mill location opened in 1975, and now there are four locations in the city. The Telegraph location is one of the newer ones. The building used to be a telegraph and telephone office, but now it’s a coffee shop where people gather to study, meet, or just enjoy a good drink with friends. Even though it has changed, the building still has a lot of history. The other Mill locations in Lincoln are in the Haymarket, College View, and the Lincoln Airport. Each one has a little bit of a different feel, but they all serve great coffee and tea. During the warmer months, we can look forward to the mill hosting live music on the patio, bringing in a good crowd.
If you’re looking for a cozy place to get away from the cold and get work done, The Mill at Telegraph is a great choice! With its long hours, big space, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s perfect for studying late at night or just hanging out. And since it’s not far from Union, it’s an easy place to visit when you need a break from campus!
