Voices Unite Under the Stars at Union’s Karaoke Night
Karaoke Night Hits All the Right Notes
The Student Association, in collaboration with the Black Student Association (BSA) club, hosted an unforgettable, melodious karaoke night. Students were filling the fire pit area with music, laughter, and excitement. The event offered a stage that gave students a chance to step out of their comfort zone and showcase their hidden talents. From soulful ballads to upbeat pop hits, the night was filled with energy as students performed with confidence, passion, and plenty of personality. The outcome was amazing, with students from different experiences with music and with different voices expressing all their emotions through the microphone. Many attendees were first-time performers, nervously clutching the microphone before belting out their favorite songs, while seasoned singers wowed the audience with flawless singing. Each song and performer was met with cheers, applause, and encouraging words. The night was a true testament to the talent and courage that exists at Union, and it was inspiring to see students take the stage, share their voices, and have fun while some were conquering their fears in the process.
Here at Union, no campus event is complete without tasty treats or food. Karaoke Night offered plenty of treats to keep the level of energy high. From savory snacks to sweet bites, the refreshments gave attendees a chance to refuel between performances and catch up with friends.
Karaoke Night was a hit in every sense. It was filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable performances from every attendee, from first-time singers to crowd favorites. The event celebrated hidden talents that some performers didn’t even know they had, brought people together and created new friendships, and provided a night of enjoyment that left everyone smiling from west to east. As we all head into Fall Break, students can reflect on the joy of the evening and look forward to the return of student-led events that continue to highlight the creativity, talent, and community spirit on our campus.
