ASB President’s Welcome
Dear Union College Family, welcome back home! I hope you enjoyed a summer full of family, friends, adventure and God. As we swing back into another busy school year full of academics and extracurricular activities, I ask that you keep one thing in mind.
“It's Time”
I’m proud to announce “It’s Time” as this year’s ASB theme. I’d like to remind everyone that it’s time to get involved. Get involved with your ASB team. Get involved with Campus Ministries. Get involved with clubs. Get involved in any way on campus.
In addition, I would like to remind everyone that it’s time to make a difference on our campus. Continue to spread the love, joy, and friendliness that makes Union unique. Reach out to someone you don’t know with a warm smile or a friendly hello. Help keep Union uniquely Union. It’s time to get out of your comfort zone.
I’d like to challenge each student on our campus to try something that they normally wouldn’t. Sit with someone random at lunch, get up and sing for vespers, ask that cute guy or girl out. You can do it!
Finally, it’s time for me to get to know you. It’s my personal goal this year to try to meet and talk with every single student on campus.
I’d love to hear all of your ideas, dreams and concerns regarding Union and this year’s ASB team. My door is always open and if you ever need anything, a friend to talk to or a shoulder to cry on please feel free to contact me at any time.
It’s an honor and a privilege to serve as your Associated Student Body President and I pray that I represent and serve you all well. May God be with and bless our campus.
Anthony J. Gann
