Lincoln Calling Recap
This past weekend from Sept. 28-30 in downtown Lincoln was the 14th annual Lincoln Calling Music Festival. The weekend festivities included music from more than 100 local and national artist, with crowds of all ages. The streets took to many artists showcasing their different artwork at the Night Market and skateboarders held a contest at The Bay after the concerts were over. The overall atmosphere of the weekend was very positive, being able to bring large crowds of people that all enjoy music, art and small businesses from more than 30 vendors together is a great experience. During the day there were workshops that talked about sustainability and Lincoln’s Young Professionals group had had special speakers and networking opportunities for college students in Lincoln. And at night was when the artists and music groups came out in the heart of Lincoln for a great weekend.
