Hey Hannah
Hey Hannah, Why are all these trees still green? It's freaking fall already!!
Unfortunately, I’m not an arboriculturist. It’ll do its thing when it’s ready.
Hey Hannah, How can I go green in my dorm room?
There are several ways to go green in a dorm. Firstly, if you’re leaving your room, make sure to turn off all the lights and unplug the appliances that aren’t in use. Another thing you can do is start using reusable bags. Depending on where you go, you can buy reusable bags that last for years, while still at an affordable price. However, one of the biggest things you can do to go green is to stop using and buying bottled water. TJ Maxx has an entire section dedicated to reusable water bottles, and there are many filtered water fountains on campus. Another solution I’d suggest is to take shorter showers. It’s estimated that the average person uses 2.5 gallons per minute during a typical shower. If you were to cut your shower time by four minutes per day, you would save 3,650 gallons every year.
Hey Hannah, Is there a better place for coffee than The Mill? I'm starting to get tired of it.
I like The Bay. They’ve got a chill atmosphere and great coffee. If I don’t go to The Bay, I like to go to either Crescent Moon or Bagels and Joe. Crescent Moon has more of a study vibe whereas Bagels and Joe is more for a coffee date unless you can tolerate a little bit of noise while you study. If you’re getting tired of The Mill, try somewhere different! There are many places in Lincoln and the list continues to grow.
Hey Hannah, Is it wrong to rely on your friends for money?
Yes. It is very wrong to rely on your friends for money. You’re an adult. At this point, you should be relying on yourself for money. Treating your friends as your personal bank is NOT okay.
