Impeach...?
As I mentioned in my previous article, I did not think this long ride of Democrat impeachment foolishness would go anywhere. After the president released a full, unredacted transcript of the phone call with the president of Ukraine, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House of Representatives will launch a formal inquiry into the impeachment of President Trump.
On Wednesday, Former Whitewater independent counsel Robert Ray told “America’s Newsroom” that a "single-party impeachment inquiry" by Democrats against President Trump would not make it through the Senate. This is rightfully so. These unsupported reasons for impeachment by the Democrats are completely out of place and out of line.
They are unfairly prosecuting the president and violating his right to due process. This should not be allowed to take place in our country. How can we be asked to trust a judicial system that will not even acknowledge the rights of the President of the United States of America? The Democratic call for impeachment without the majority of the House makes it completely constitutionally invalid. This impeachment inquiry made by Senator Pelosi should and must be shut down. It is not okay to allow the government to disregard our rights as individuals just because it is in their favor.
The White House outlined why it will not participate in their impeachment inquiry in a defiant eight-page letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and top Democrats on Tuesday. As usual, Nancy Pelosi is seen going back on her word. Pelosi had previously claimed she would not pursue impeachment unless there was bipartisan support to do it.
I believe the only conclusion that can be drawn from this circus is that this is simply a way for the Democrats to unfairly put the 2020 election in their favor and impact the final results of the election.
Especially in this time of great divide I ask once again that no matter which side you are on, pray for the leaders for our country. May God bless each one of you.
