SA president address 2024-2025

Hello Union Adventist University, my name is Breanna Hawk and I’m so excited to introduce myself as your Student Association (SA) President for this academic year. I’m excited about the opportunity to serve each one of you and contribute to making this year an amazing one.

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in Nashville, Tenn. and this is my fourth year at Union. In addition to my role as SA President, I’m really passionate about photography, writing, knitting, painting and hiking — pretty much anything that gets me outside or allows me to express my creativity. Over the years, Union has truly become my home away from home and I have grown to love this community deeply. I’m currently a senior, majoring in Communication and Graphic Design. I’ve had the privilege of being involved with the SA for the past three years. This experience has allowed me to connect with so many of you and I’m very excited to build on that connection as your SA President.

One of the things I cherish most and hold close to my heart about Union is the strong sense of community we share here. I’m a firm believer that a supportive and joyful community can have a huge impact on our lives. My goal this year is to be a leader who not only listens to you but also actively supports and uplifts you, as the student body, in every way possible. I want to ensure that each of you feels heard, valued and empowered during your time here.

As much as I love our school, I believe there’s always room for positive change and growth. This year, we already have some exciting new additions and initiatives lined up. I can’t wait to see how they will grow and better our experience at Union. However, I also know that the best ideas often come from those who are directly impacted by them — you, the students! That’s why I’m asking for your input and ideas. Whether it’s a fun event you’d like to see, a change you think would benefit our campus (big or small) or any other suggestions you have, I’m all ears and ready to listen! Your voice matters so much to me and, together, we can make this year one of the best ones yet.

I want you all to know how much I care about this school and each of you. I’m committed to doing my very best as your SA President and I’m excited about the journey ahead. Thank you for electing me into this role, it means so much. I’m looking forward to working together to make this year incredible for everyone at Union Adventist University. Thank you for all your support. I can’t wait to meet you all!
