Warm drinks, winter crafts, and a whole lot of cheer!

Campus Ministries Christmas activities

With Christmas right around the corner, the Campus Ministries (CM) office is fully geared for winter. The whole space has transformed into a cheerful holiday hangout by some mysterious elfs: decorations, cozy lighting, and activities cover the interior! If you have a break in classes, or if you choose to intentionally stop by the CM office, come in, take a breath, and slow down to enjoy a little Christmas magic in the middle of a hectic semester.

A new tradition has begun this year in the shape of the prayer tree located inside the CM office. Anyone passing by will find tags outside on which you can write a prayer, a note, or a Christmas wish, and hang it on the tree’s branches. The best part? The CM staff prays over every tag placed on the tree. It's simple, sweet, and a reminder that students are cared for and supported in the year’s busiest season. The tree is set up and available every day, so anyone can participate whenever inspiration–or stress hits.

If your love language is sugar, the CM office has you covered with “12 Days of Hot Cocoa,” from December 1st through December 16th. Whenever the office is open, there will be cocoa with a special new topping daily. One day might be peppermint pieces, the next might be marshmallows, cinnamon, or a new surprise. Think of this like a countdown to Christmas, but with more sugar and fewer rules. Make sure to stop by when the office is open!

Office hours:

Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. || 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Closed for Chapels 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays

Friday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

For those who want a creative break, the Snowflake Bar is open inside the CM office. The setup includes coffee filters, scissors, and all supplies needed to design your own personalized snowflake. Once it’s folded, you can sign your name and hang it on one of the pillars to add to the growing collection of student-made decorations.

To top it all off, the kitchen space is open for anyone wanting to make coffee, cocoa, or tea. With the new mug wall addition, you can even bring your own mug to use anytime you visit. Once you are done with it, wash and place it on the mug holder hung on the wall.

This year, the CM office has been transformed into a welcoming winter corner on campus. Whether you join for cocoa, crafts, prayer, or simply the community, there is something for everyone to help make the holiday season feel a little brighter.
